During a press conference in Paris, The Boss explained that much of the inspiration for his new album, set for release on March 6th, is anger at what he sees as the crushing of the American Dream in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.

“I have friends who lost everything they had,” Springsteen explained, according to the Dagens Nyhter newspaper.

Sweden's economy booms with cautious turn to the right

Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt is a conservative in the manner of Britain's David Cameron, according to David Frum. 

Sweden is making a political right turn, in a very Swedish way: cautiously, consensually, unflamboyantly. But decisively even so. 

One of contenders for the most highly taxed country in the Western world has cut taxes significantly since 2006. Tight fiscal policy has pushed the public sector's share of GDP back down toward 50%. The economy is growing, the budget is balanced, unemployment is declining. 

The governing center-right coalition was re-elected last year; the once dominant Social Democrats suffered their worst defeat since before World War I.

BRUCE SHOULD LEARN THAT WHAT IS BANKRUPTING EUROPEAN NATIONS IS NOT THEIR "BUSH TAX CUTS" - THEY HAD NONE. AND NOT THEIR "UNFUNDED WARS" - THEY HAD NONE. AND NOT THEIR "OUT OF CONTROL MILITARY SPENDING" - THEY HAVE NONE.

WHAT IS BANKRUPTING EUROPEAN NATIONS IS THEIR WELFARE STATES.

DOES BRUCE REALLY WANT THAT HERE?

THEY DON'T WANT US BANKRUPT BUT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT OBAMA AND HIS COMRADES ARE DOING TO THE USA: THEY ARE TURNING US INTO A EURO-SOCIALIST STATE AND IT IS BANKRUPTING US.
