A HIGH school student's plans to take a porn star to his prom are in tatters after school bosses banned her.
Mike Stone, 18, had sent hundreds of tweets to blue movie actresses, asking them to accompany him to the leavers' ball.
His plea came after he struggled to find a date for the do.
Megan Piper was one of the two women who replied and agreed to join him at the dance in Oakdale, Minnesota, if he paid for her travel from LA, California.
Piper said she had been excited about going because she had not made it to her own prom.
And she said: "I thought it was really cute, and I thought it would make his night by saying 'yes'."
But Mike's dream is over after the authorities blocked the move. Local school district superintendent Patty Phillips said Piper, 19, would be banned because her appearance would be "inconsistent" with what was expected of visitors to the school.
Mike's bid echoes that of Sergeant Scott Moore, who asked actress Mila Kunis to be his date for the Marine Corps Ball via a YouTube video.
Mila agreed and accompanied the soldier to the bash last November.
Acting colleague Justin Timberlake attended the Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Richmond, Virginia, with Corporal Kelsey De Santis.
Singer Taylor Swift was asked via Facebook to be the prom date of a New Jersey high school student.
She could not go in the end but invited him to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on April instead.
